#restoration #beretta Here is a gun restoration of an Italian army issue Beretta model 1934 produced in 1940 with a "FAG" proof mark of 1939 which makes is a little bit more rare. This suggests that the handgun was made in 1940 but before october 28 1940. Or "FAG" had not gotten their official proof mark from the mint office in Rome before the pistol was made and roll marked with the 1940 date ...

Do they make tools, screwdrivers, etc that wont scratch the rifles metal or wood when prying or working with gun screws?, I dont have a bead blaster so can i put the parts in one of those chemical bath agitatirs like they use for jewelry? After the rstoration, what oil would you use on the gun metal if you store the gun so it wont rust?

Excellent video, thanks! And thanks for the blueing tutorial, I really appreciate that. A brass punch would have been useful for disassembly. At 13:49, if the barrel had been replaced before it was serviced by The Kinzler Brothers, then the appropriate phrase is, "The barrel HAD been replaced…". What identifies the barrel as British? Would alcohol displace the water at 13:09? At 13:46 that is a "RAMPANT COLT" not just a horse. The Rampant Colt logo is stamped on almost all Colt firearms. My M-1911 is a lot newer, but I would just as well have that one!
